Soffit and Fascia Repairs Lusk
Rotten, soft, peeling or storm damaged fascia and soffit boards will not improve by themselves. Once the paint or protective surface breaks down and water penetrates behind the timber, rot develops rapidly and can then spread into the roof timbers.
We carry out fascia and soffit repairs throughout Lusk before they escalate into complete replacements, helping you save money whilst maintaining a weathertight roofline.
Common fascia and soffit problems we fix
- Rotten or soft timber fascia boards
- Peeling, flaking or bubbling paint
- Damaged soffits, including sagging, cracked or pest chewed sections
- Blocked or broken soffit ventilation
- Storm damaged sections following high winds
- Water marks indicating hidden rot behind the boards
Repair or replace?
Repairs are the sensible option when the damage is contained to a specific area, such as one or two boards, a small section of soffit, or a couple of vents. When rot has spread along the run, or the boards are older timber failing in several places, full replacement of the fascia boards becomes the better choice.
We will inspect at no charge and provide you with honest advice, without any pressure selling. If we believe a repair can be completed and will offer a lasting solution, we will tell you. If we feel it would simply be a temporary fix, we will explain that too and present replacement options instead.

Excellent job done on entire house. Soffits and guttering. Would highly recommend. Very clean. No mess left behind.
John and the JP team were so professional, so nice and really did excellent work. Very impressed with the clean, thorough job they did. They are all so particular and kept saying "it's got to be done right" and keeping us updated on what was being done at each stage. Would highly recommend and have them back again.
I would like to thank John, Peter and Mark for their excellent work. They installed new gutters, fascia and soffits with great expertise. They were punctual and the quality of work was superb. They were extremely courteous and helpful, discussing any issues as they found them. The level of workmanship was exceptional. They cleaned up and took away all the old materials with them. The professionalism shown by this company was top class and I would highly recommend them for this type of work.
Great service from JP Guttering. Easy to deal with, will give you a clear and honest evaluation of the work to be done, and then provide a high quality and timely service. Highly recommend.
Really pleased with the work from JP Guttering. The team were friendly, professional and easy to deal with throughout. The job was completed to a very good standard, everything was left clean and tidy afterwards, and the new fascia and guttering look great. Would happily recommend JP Guttering to anyone looking to get similar work done.
JP Guttering highly recommended. I needed all gutters replaced at the back of my house. I was recommended to call John. He was very good to deal with, he clearly explained what needed to be done. He came when he promised and the team did a really good job for a fair price. I called him recently about a job I needed done for me and my neighbour. He came this morning and fixed the issue. Again very high standard of customer care.
Contacted John on Thursday to replace sagging back gutter… job completed to a high standard on Saturday. Very easy to deal with, punctual, professional and took the time to explain everything in detail. The guys also fixed a few minor problems with other gutters at no extra cost.
I can highly recommend John and his team.
Many thanks.
John and Peter were great to deal with from start to finish and I would have no hesitation recommending JP Guttering as I was really impressed with their work (new gutters, upvc fascia and soffit), efficiency and value for money.
Highly recommend. Great work John Peter and team. New gutters fascia soffits drain pipes and some new roof felt. Happy with service and knowledge and high quality work
I was in need of urgent repair as I had rain water running down the front of my house. John managed to squeeze me and his team showed up exactly when he said they would (not many companies are that dependable). They quickly identified the issue and committed to getting the materials and fixing my problem before it worsened. Thanks to John and team, very impressive service. I can see why there are so many positive reviews.
